CAT SPOTTING
The Book Barn has many animals roaming the grounds, but we are most well known for the many cats who live in the stores. Check out our cat spotting guide below to see if you can spot them all.

Most of our cats love to be pet.
PLEASE DO NOT PICK THEM UP OR CARRY THEM.

GARDENS
In the spring and summer months, The Book Barn's main grounds are full of lush and peaceful gardens. Perfect for an easy stroll of just to sit and read a good book.
OTHER ANIMALS
The Book Barn is not only home to their famous cats, but you can also find goats and occasionally turtles and fish.

PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS AT THIS TIME.

Fili
Fili is a nice boy who loves carrots and will gladly snack while you scratch his back. He will try to butt heads with all the dog friends who come to visit.
Teddy
Teddy is a sweet boy who loves to be scratched everywhere! He thinks clothes are yummy so mind your sleeves. He’s also leash trained!

Evinrude
Our resident senior is a notorious lovebug. He is named after the boat motor because of his loud purr.

Often spotted at the Main Barn.

Pipkin
He may be cute but don’t be fooled, he’s a mighty hunter who would prefer not to be bothered by us pesky humans (except at dinner time). Pipkin will scratch so please be respectful of him.

Often spotted at the Main Barn.

Cutiepie
Cutiepie is a semi-feral mama who refused to be trapped until we had caught her kittens. She remains shy but you may catch a glimpse of her laying on the couch with her daughters, Rosemary and Thyme.

Often spotted at the Chapter Three.

Thyme
This pretty floof is a little shy but very sweet. She will sometimes accept gentle petting if you’re slow and quiet.
